History
Payne & Sons Construction is a family-owned company that has been serving the Phoenix area for over 20 years. In 1998 the company was divided into two parts; the roofing division and the remodeling division.
The company was founded by Steven Payne in 1984, originally operating under the name of Bountiful Construction. As Steven worked in the remodeling market, he realized that a significant need existed for a quality roofer.
In 1998 the company split into two divisions; roofing and remodeling. The two divisions operated under the residential general contractor license until demand for the roofing services became so great that a seperate commercial and residential roofing license was obtained in 2004.
In 2006, in response to an increasing number of requests for custom home-building services, the new construction division was created. This division focuses on providing high-end custom building services.
The company has experienced an impressive amount of growth over the past 5 years, growing from just 4 employees to over 20 in 2008.
